Rare Collectable Antique Photo Girl And Boy Toyland Santa Claus Toy Store Shop. Size: 2.5 in x 1.75in. This Photograph was found in a collection of real photo postcards and is likely dated in the early 1900s. It presents an adorable little girl and boy standing in front of the window of a toy shop. It is speculated that the little boy is talking about the toy he wants. The time frame is winter, Christmas time. It is presumed that this is a corner of the large department store, Jordan Marsh. Founded in 1851 by Eben Dyer Jordan and Benjamin L. Marsh (where the name comes from). This was expanded until they had New England’s largest toystore. Eventually, Jordan Marsh was absorbed by Macy’s in the 1990s. Please take note of the size, which is smaller than one might expect at first glance. Kindly take a close look at the pictures to observe the condition. This is a great piece to add to your collection. Hold history in your hands. From what I can tell, this is a rare find. Please inspect the pictures to get the best idea on condition. There are no condition issues I can spot, but the pictures will be the most clear.
