She likes to copy mommy and do her work so she will draw now sitting at her desk on the stool and she stores all her art materials in the bucket underneath. It was easy to put together and fits nicely in her playroom! Fun Compact Activity Desk. The Minnie Mouse Activity Easel Desk with Stool & Toy Organizer made my daughter’s day when it arrived. She is only slightly familiar with Minnie Mouse but absolutely loves that it’s pink and the perfect size for her. She is three years old and feels like a’big girl’ now that she has a desk like her older sibling. She had just started to really become interested in drawing. This has been a great way for her to continue her creativity. The desk was easy to remove from the box and the directions are helpful. I did utilize a second set of hands from my son while building it. I would say it took us about an hour and a half to build. The materials are made well and I didn’t have any issues with wood splitting when I tightened the screws. I should note that when building the desk you will be choosing between a chalk board or a dry erase board. Once built you cannot easily flip the board to the other side. Of course my daughter picked the dry erase board and then once it was complete she said she would rather have the chalk board. I’ve decided to leave it as a dry erase board for awhile and then eventually loosen a few screws to switch it to the chalkboard. One nice feature is how the dry eraser/chalk board can be moved straight up to make move room on the desk for coloring or drawing on paper. I was pleasantly surprised with how sturdy the stool is. My daughter enjoys climbing and jumping from anything so I was concerned it wouldn’t be strong enough to hold up to so much use. The legs on the stool are sturdy and spread out wide enough to create stability when sitting or standing! The overall size of the desk is nicely compact with the bin fitting snuggly under it without taking away from leg space. My daughter is petite and will probably be able to sit comfortably at the desk until she is about five years old. The desk doesn’t come with any dry erase markers or chalk so be sure to have some on hand if you would like your little one to enjoy the desk fully once it’s built. The activity desk now sits in our living room since my daughter enjoys spending much of her day using it. Whether she’s drawing, adding her’babies’ to the bin or moving different books in and out of the cloth shelves. GOT THIS FOR MY 2 YEAR OLD GRAND DAUGHTER FOR HER BIRTHDAY. JUST A FEW SCREWS. YOU WILL NEED A PHILLIPS SCREW DRIVER AND ABOUT 30 MINUTES OF YOUR TIME. IT HAS LOTS OF ROOM FOR BOOKS AND OTHER TOYS IN THE BACK AND A LARGE DRAWER FOR STORAGE. IT IS REALLY COMPACT AND WILL HOLD LOTS OF TOYS AND BOOKS. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS PRODUCT AND WHOEVER YOU GIVE IT TO WILL GET MANY, MANY HOURS OF ENJOYMENT IS THEY ARE ANYTHING LIKE MY GRANDDAUGHTER.
